Welcome to JCruzID I’m Jennifer Cruz, Owner and Principal Designer of Jennifer Cruz Interior Design. My passion is helping clients bring their personal style to life by creating spaces that reflect who they are and how they live. I believe a well-designed home should not only be beautiful, but also uplifting and functional—an environment that truly supports your lifestyle.

About My Journey I earned my certificate in Interior & Environmental Design from UCLA’s graduate program in 2001, a FIDER-accredited program recognized for excellence. Even before graduating, I began my design career in Los Angeles with a high-end residential firm. Over the next seven years, I served as Lead Interior Designer for two of Southern California’s most respected, award-winning model home design firms.

My path then led me into architectural and luxury design. I worked as an Architectural Designer and later Director of Interior Design at a prestigious residential firm in Rancho Santa Fe, before becoming Design Director for a boutique high-end firm in Solana Beach.

In 2015, I officially launched JCruzID, where I now focus exclusively on serving my clients and creating interiors that feel timeless, welcoming, and uniquely personal.

My Philosophy For me, design is more than creating beautiful spaces—it’s about building trust and cultivating long-term relationships. I believe every project should celebrate both fine craftsmanship and artistry, blending timeless design with thoughtful details that make a home truly unique. Many of my clients return to me for new projects over the years, which I consider the greatest compliment. My goal is always to design interiors that not only look exceptional, but also feel deeply personal and stand the test of time.
